wrong...you should include all

arsenal. I'm
simply saying that you should
also have a system that
automatically
triggers referrals from current
clients. Let some of your
marketing do the heavy lifting
for you.
Here's why I
believe that client newsletter
inserts are an excellent

inserts are weak, you are
throwing money away onn
printing and
maybe even aggravating past
client through your marketing.
Done properly
though, this is one of the most
effective strategies to

because it is automatic and it
goes out to lots of clients one

You can also
parlay (combine) the inserts
with other referral
promotions, like
a monthly referral contest.
Another reason I like using
inserts is because you can piggy

promotions.
In other words,
place the inserts in other
promotional materials you
are sending out
that month. This will save you
money on multiple
mailings.
Postage is getting expensive
these days.
Here's a couple
keys to make your inserts
lethally effective...
Add a certificate at the end.
An involvement device they can
cut out
and hand to
someone. Always print your
inserts with colored paper like
Golden Rod or Yellow. You want
tocatch their attention. Use
lots of hooks and psychological
hot buttons and incorporate
techniques of persuasion (be
ethical). Tie your promotions
to different holidays, news, hot
topics and specific times of the
year. Give bonuses and
incentives for fast action and
limit the number of available
free consultations or financial
checkups. This creates
urgency. Don't forget a strong
headline that gets them to read
the insert in the 1st place.
