In this issue you will
learn how to use Eight Golden “Slam Dunk” Insurance Marketing Strategies to help fatten
your wallet with little or no cost!
Dear
agent:
Have
you ever been inside a real prison? I had an opportunity a while back to visit
Alcatraz Prison in San Francisco. I can tell you, nothing you have seen on
television can prepare you for the real thing. As I was touring the inside of
those prison walls I felt the fear, depression, and powerlessness that prisoners
feel in that environment. There are millions of prisoners enduring that
environment everyday.
But
that is a small number compared to the
millions of people
who might as well be in such a prison as a result of the little joy and
satisfaction they are receiving from life. I believe people build their own
prisons. These people’s “private prison” block walls are constructed of
complaints and resentment, the mortar from excuses, and the bars are constructed
from pessimism and procrastination.
I
remember a story of a blind man who was one of the top producers in a sales
organization. He was not blind from birth, but had lost his sight in his late
teen years. His favorite pastime was to wash and wax his car at ten or eleven
o’clock at night; it did not matter to him, but it bugged his neighbors. He had
no bitterness or self-pity for himself. He had learned by talking to other
blind individuals that the lack of sight ruined their lives. They built little
prisons for themselves and locked themselves in. However, he was determined not
to let that happen. He became a real winner in life.
This brings us to our first
golden “Slam Dunk” insurance marketing principle.
The first golden insurance
marketing strategy
is to take control of your life by writing down your goals.
In fact, you need to write 101 goals or more. Here are four principles you need
to follow in regards to your goals. First, figure out what you want in life and
from your business. Let your mind wonder like a twelve-year-old boy or girl and
write down a minimum of 101 goals that you would like to accomplish over the
next 50 years. You see, the moment you write down your 50-year plan, your
subconscious starts working on it. Second, you need to write it down on a 3 by
5 card. Get your priorities in order by doing your own financial plan. Look at
it at least 4 times a day. Make sure you sign the card, and get someone
important in your life to sign it also. Then look at it before breakfast,
lunch, dinner and before you go to bed. Third, you need to visualize whatever
you want in life and from your business. Put your biggest goals on your mirror
where you can see them while brushing your teeth or combing your hair.
The
bottom line of these principles is the minute you write down your goals and put
it on your mirror, it enters you subliminally. Once it goes through the portals
of your pupils and penetrates the 20 billion brain cells, it triggers a reaction
that will show you how to accomplish your goals. Thus it allows you to become a
world class person and a top producer in your field.
The second golden insurance
marketing strategy
is investing in your own marketing process.
Not having a marketing plan and calendar is like entering the battlefield
without a strategy to win the battle. In other words, having the commander say,
“ready, fire, and aim.” This would not make sense would it? I know countless
agents who start every week not having any idea what they are going to do to
generate business. What you need to learn in “Slam Dunk” marketing is the more
time, energy and imagination you put into the marketing process, the less cash
you will have to invest.
Marketing is a process. It is not a straight line, it is a circle, it
is like breathing. You just don’t try it once and see how it works. You must
do it all the time. The more you do it, the more it becomes part of your every
day thinking process. Another valuable tool you need is a twelve-month
marketing calendar. It should be loaded with “slam dunk” marketing principles
that have proven themselves in the past for you. If you need more help in this
area contact our office and we can mail you information on our course titled,
“Ultimate Lazy Agent Marketing System.” It is packed with 157 money Producing
marketing Strategies and Secrets. Just go to our website and download the free

Remember this important principle,
stop talking about yourself,
your product or your company in your marketing pieces.
Your prospects do not give a hoot about you, they only care about themselves.
Appeal to their
interest when setting your marketing calendar and your frustrations will end in
regards to not having a successful marketing program and plan.
The third golden insurance
marketing strategy
is having commitment.
All the great athletes of our time have one thing in common. They have
commitment to their sport. What ever it takes for them to perform at the top of
their sport they would do. It is the same with your marketing campaign. The
reality is brilliant marketing without commitment does not work nearly as well
as mediocre marketing with commitment. Slam-dunk marketers try to come up with
brilliant marketing systems and then commit to them. By having commitment you
will find ways to make your marketing work for you. Commitment is the backbone
to almost everything that is successful today. So hang in there!
The fourth golden insurance
marketing strategy
is generosity.
The
top agents do not think about what they can take from a prospect or client.
They think of what they can give. They think about what free financial service
they can give; they offer free advice. They think about what they can give
away. Top producers learn that the more service they give, the more they get.
The word selling, comes from a Danish word, it means “to serve.” And obviously,
“The greatest amongst you serves the most, thus receiving the greatest
rewards.” Napoleon Hill said,
“the quantity of service
plus the quality of service, with a positive mental attitude equals unlimited
compensation.”
The fifth golden insurance
marketing strategy
is an investment in you.
Start investing in yourself with self-improvement programs. When you spend
money on marketing, educational tapes, books, seminars in your field it is an
investment. I remember once investing in a marketing course that cost me over
$400. However, I discovered one marketing concept that I started using and that
one concept made me over $200,000 in additional income over a three-year period.
It was a special postcard system that I currently use today. Check out my
website for details. Now, let me ask you, how much did I really invest in that
marketing course. To make $250,000 a year, you should be investing $25,000 in
yourself.
We are
the only country in the world that offers self help books. If you have not read
the following books, you have to read them!
Think and Grow Rich,
by Napolean Hill. Dale Carnegie’s
How To win Friends and
Influence People.
Og Mandino’s the
Greatest Salesman in the World.
Steven Covey’s
7
Habits of Successful People.
These books are great stuff and they will change your life. They are also
available on cassette for your car while driving out to an appointment.
The sixth golden insurance
marketing strategy
is become a master storyteller. One of my friends, a top insurance agent in
Southern California, had countless emotional stories about people dying and how
it effected their families. He also told heart-warming stories of people who
planned ahead and their families were financially set. I am telling you, you
have to become a master storyteller, and seller, and memorize your stories. You
need to record them and have someone critique them. You need to record the best
people’s sales stuff and constantly learn from these people.
The seventh golden insurance
marketing strategy
is to have a mastermind partner.
One of the number one things insurance agents lack is a coach, or mastermind
partner that is as good as they are, or hopefully better at doing the business.
You need to compete with people that are better than you are in the insurance
business. This alliance will help you get an upper hand on not only your
business, but also your competition. You need to find someone who is dependable
and willing to share moneymaking strategies. Buy them gifts to make them feel
obligated to give you advice. In many cases by lining yourself with a
mastermind partner he will force you to start thinking bigger than you have ever
imagined.
The eighth golden insurance
marketing strategy
is to focus on a defined niche market.
You will find if you focus on a niche market like retiree’s, business people,
accountants, attorney’s, or doctors, your cost for marketing goes down and your
average commission goes up. You can even become more specialized in these
markets. For instance you could focus in on RV owners within a 20-mile radius
of your area. These lists are available. Or, you can focus in on people who
not only have wealth, but they have also invested in alternative products.
For
example we have access to a list of C.D. Holders, Mutual Fund and annuity
Holders. We can also help you get Affluent Older Investors above fifty with a
net worth over $500,000. What you need to do is purchase a list of 1,000 to
2,000 C.D. Holders in your region and start mailing out one of our 20
generating postcard. Then start mailing these people every six weeks a new
postcard until they respond to your postcard mailing. You can also use our
“World Smallest
Newsletter™.”
It does not take a rocket scientist to determine this is one
guaranteed way to add an additional $10,000 to your monthly income. Therefore,
you have just read eight golden principles that can lead you to a six-figure
income. However, these are just a small sample of what is currently available
